Method β if you do not have an ice cream maker:
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until well combined.
- Pour the mixture in a freezer-friendly container and place it in the freezer. You will need to take out the ice cream and vigorously stir it by hand every hour for about 3 times while it freezes. This will prevent hard crystals from forming and you will end up with a smoother ice cream.
- To serve, remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before scooping and serving.
Method β if you have an ice cream maker:
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to your ice cream maker bowl and churn according to the instructions.
- Once done, transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until the desired consistency is reached. You can also freeze overnight to enjoy the next day.
Top-up this ice-cream with berries, coconut flakes, chopped nuts, chocolate chips or any of your favourite toppings, so you can enjoy different flavours every time.
