- Prepare the fruits by removing stems and pits, and chopping large fruits into small pieces. Berries can be left whole.
- Pour the fruits and maple syrup in a pot over medium heat.
- Stir for 5 to 7 minutes until the fruits begin to break down and bubble.
- Mash them with a fork.
- Sprinkle in the chia seeds, and add the lemon juice.
- Stir well and cook for a few more minutes.
- Remove from the heat. The jam will thicken as it cools.
- Let it cool completely before eating. Enjoy!
